About
Felicia Rocha Oskar
I was born in the heart of Sedona with deep ancestral roots in northern Arizona and northern New Mexico. I moved to the PNW in 2019 and frequently return AZ to spend time with family and connect with nature.
My background in healing arts began in 1993 when I was introduced to yoga and meditation while working in a chiropractic & psychotherapist's office. As a teenager, this experience is where I learned about the interconnectedness of body and mind in the healing process - which eventually led me to yoga teacher training. And later became a Healing Arts Practitioner and receive an Associates degree in Somatic Psychology & Mindfulness with a focus on Holistic Nutrition.
Other holistic & artistic modalities I have studied and nurtured include, dance/choreography, photography, screen printing, postpartum doula work, energy work, herbalism, cacao ceremony, and natural skincare crafting. With trainings from Yogaville, Ashram of Sri Swami Satchidananda, 7 Centers Yoga Arts with Sraddhasagar and Rama Jyoti Vernon, Penny Simkin Center for Allied Birth Vocations from Bastyr University, Southwest Institute of Healing Arts, among others. I honor artistic expression in all forms as learning and healing are never linear. And tending to the heart, body, and spirit leads to a higher quality of life.
As a woman, a wife, a mother of adult children, and a daughter of aging parents - there were seasons in my life when I found myself doing so much for others and my job and it seemed as though I may have had the energy to do it all. But inside, I was running on empty, over-extended, and depleted. The exhaustion went bone-deep. Even getting "enough sleep" wasn't giving relief. Several health concerns soon began to follow. I stripped down those concerns and discovered that the genesis of it all was neglecting to listen to my true self. So I started working on the repair - and I knew I wasn't alone.
This path led me to create NOBA Wellness - Nothing Bad.
